As a private nonprofit serving Dare County and the surrounding Outer Banks, we provide immediate safety, compassionate support, and trusted guidance to individuals and families facing crisis. Through advocacy, counseling, emergency shelter, crisis response, education, and community outreach, we help survivors move toward healing, stability, and a future free from violence.
Our Mission
Hotline Outer Banks exists to protect, restore, and empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking — offering help when it’s hardest to ask, and hope when it’s needed most.
Our Vision
We envision an inclusive community free from interpersonal violence, where every person feels safe, respected, supported, and empowered to live without fear.
